It's a 4 day non-stop thriller..... probably this is the best way to describe this expedition.
This is not a trip for first timers. It is for the people who have experienced rafting before and are now looking for the next level. The trip demands very good physical state, and the participants should be able to do 5-6 hrs of rigorous paddling every day. And being a team player is an absolute must.
The trip starts from Chamoli. Out of the 5 Prayags in Uttarakhand, you will cover 3 prayags in this trip namely 'Nandaprayag', 'Karnaprayag', 'Rudraprayag' all on the river Alaknanda. This entire section comes under Upper Alaknanda.
Camping support is provided through accompanying vehicle.

| Detailed Trip Schedule |
Day 01
Reach Shivpuri early morning. After breakfast head out for a practice run at the Ganga from Shivpuri to Rishikesh. Post lunch depart for Karnaprayag, reach Karnaprayag after a 6 hrs drive by road. Overnight stay there.

Day 02
Post breakfast, drive to Chamoli by road, approx travel time is 1 hr. Expedition starts from Chamoli. Raft from Chamoli to Kaldu-Bagad. We pass the famous 'Hillary fall' today, this is a grade V rapid. Camp setup at Kaldu-Bagad, overnight stay there.

Day 03
Early morning wakeup, and after a nourishing breakfast, all the gear is again strapped on the raft, and the journey continues. Today we raft from Kaldu-Bagad till Gauchar, day will be long and we will spend approx. 6-7 hrs on the river. We will pass KarnaPrayag today, where the Pinder river meets Alaknanda, and Overnight stay at Gauchar.

Day 04
Today we raft from Gauchar to the finishing point, Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is where the Mandakini meets Alaknanda. We also pass the 'Kakad faal' rapid and gorge, which is a class V rapid. Lunch at the exit point, depart for Rishikesh immediately after lunch to continue the journey further from Rishikesh.
