This is an easy to moderate trek, and would bring forth small challenges and beautiful views. Participants would need to cross small turbulent streams over simple log bridges or may need to wade through icy cold waters. Earlier in the season, one has a good chance to come across small glaciers as well.

This is not the usual route which is used for Beas kund trek. We have explored and altered so that the trek is circular. This elliminates the need to trek on the same route during the return, as well as it exposes a completely new and far better experience on the whole.

Detailed Trip Schedule
Day 00
Board AC Volvo coach from Delhi in evening for the overnight journey to Manali. Expected journey time would be 14-16 hours.
Day 01
Arrival at Manali in morning. Transfer to Hotel. Day at leisure, town visit, shopping etc.
Day 02
Acclimatization hike to the Jogin waterfall near Vashishth. This is a constantly uphill hike, and is rewarded by the sight of a beautiful and massive waterfall. We would take a picnic lunch to enjoy at the waterfall. Post afternoon at leisure and a town visit for last minute shopping etc.
Day 03
Early morning Drive to Dhundhi. Start trek from the river crossing at Dhundhi. Camp to be set up at Bakarthach on the left bank of the glacier fed nascent river ( pagal nallah ).
Day 04
Trek across meadows to cross over the ridge of "Lady Leg" across a rocky pass to camp above the beas kund lake, overlooking beautiful Hanuman Tibba peaks. Just after the precarious rock crossing, one would need to traverse a small glacier or stream and then climb to the shoulder of the ridge. This camp site is also used for Mountaineering expeditions to Shetidhar, Manali peak etc.
Day 05
Today it is an easy downhill trek to beas kund lake. After a short rest at the lake, proceed further to set camp near a stream. There is a beautiful waterfall near this camp site. The site is almost flat and circular, completely ringed by mountains and snow view.
Day 06
Cross a couple of streams in morning, and trek from Beas kund basin to Dhundhi. Road transfer to hotel for overnight. A celebration dinner at the hotel.
Day 07
Rest day. Evening departure for Delhi by AC Volvo bus.
